Thing 15 - Online Games and Libraries
I set up an account in Second Life, because I wanted to see what it is for myself. (My brother is obsessed.) The learning curve is huge. I'm amazed people have that much free time. I can't understand why people would prefer this to doing things and interacting with people in the real world.
I can't see this being installed at the public library where I work. We don't have enough computers as is, one hour limits, and just having it installed on my home PC significantly slowed down everything else.
