Thing 10 - Wikis
The Common Craft video is a great introduction to Wikis. It demonstrates the benefits of Wikis and how easy they are to use. I frequently use Wikipedia, but wasn't familiar with many others.
I work in a public library. I understand why teachers ban Wikipedia as a source for student research but think it would be a useful starting point.
We frequently have substitute librarians. I want to set up a Wiki for frequently asked questions at our branch such as where is the nearest post office. We currently have this information in a word document.
I added a couple of movies to the B Movie List on the 23 Things on a Stick Wiki.
