Thing 21

Thing 21 - Other Social Networks

I set up a MySpace account about a year ago. I have a lot of friends in bands and they encouraged me to set up an account. MySpace is a great way for bands to market themselves, but I lost interest in it after a couple of days. I blogged once on May 8 2007. Since then, I've added a couple of photos. I don't find the social aspect appealing. I have enough trouble keeping up with the friends I have in the real world.

I responded to the post "Where are you finding the time to work on the 23 things" on the 23 things on a stick Ning and added a photo.

I explored 43 things. It was fun to read other people's goals. 17,595 people share the goal "be happy" and 2 people share the goal "use up all my skincare products before buying any new ones". I think that talking with people who share common goals and giving and getting encouragement "cheers" could help motivate me to meet my goals. One social aspect of the site, "x of y people think this is worth doing", does annoy me. I might use this site in the future for personal use.
