Thing 3 - RSS Feeds

I set up a Google Reader Account. I occasionally read feeds on the staff intranet (Librarians Index to the Internet and LIS news) but beyond that knew nothing about RSS.

I had trouble finding feeds that I would read on a regular basis. I think this is a great tool for someone who's job requires deep knowledge in one area or who browses multiple sites daily. Neither of these things apply to me.

I found feeds through google searches and reading recommendations on other 23 things blogs. None of the blogs I tried to access through the given link to library blogs worldwide were still being updated.
